Maharashtra Samaj Seva Sangh, Nashik was established on 28 August 1960 by social thinkers and dedicated workers of Nashik to create an educated and aware Maharashtra. The organization works in the educational and social field with full commitment.

From 1960 to 2026

1960
Organization founded on 28 August 1960 by social thinkers and dedicated workers of Nashik to create an educated and aware Maharashtra.
1962
Natural History Museum established at Nashik; operated for two years before closing due to certain reasons.
1969
Rachana Vidyalay started with Balwadi, Hindi and Marathi sections—the first integrated school in Nashik district. Started with 35 acres land and 100 students; now 2400+ students across all sections with full facilities.
1975
Late Shrimati Purnatai Kulkarni Vidyalaya established for differently-abled students (grades 1–7). Currently 150+ students with special and educational facilities.
1979
Swami Shraddhanand Vidyalay (Secondary) started in Dindori with 2 acres land. Now 2000+ students.
1982
Students from Late Shrimati Purnatai Kulkarni Vidyalaya integrated into Rachana Vidyalay for unified education. All students complete education up to grade 10; several have achieved doctorate.
1992
Blind & Visually Impaired Special Attention Center established at Rachana Vidyalay. Now integrated into Swami Shraddhanand Vidyalay with Braille, Music and Drama facilities.
1999
M. Kulkarni Charitable Trust School started for differently-abled students. Relocated to Dindori, Nashik in 2005. Now the only school in Nashik district providing integrated primary and higher education for special needs students.
2003
Computer lab established at Rachana Vidyalay. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar English Medium (Balwadi) started with external support.
Present
Organization continues significant work in education across Nashik. Rachana Vidyalay first in Nashik to teach Math and Science in English (as foreign language). First organization to provide computer education to students; now available to all. Career guidance, sports coaching, library, dance, music, drama, photography at Dindori campus. Many students excel in sports. Read and Decide literacy program. Land and infrastructure support for deserving educational institutes. Continuous building and maintenance at Rachana Vidyalay.
